sd video conversion to load to totalvideoredo

tried convertxtodvd adobe media encoder and xvid4psp and they either change the resolution, dont allow me to set the bitrate or cause problems with audio and resolution output.
i need a converter to exact copy bitrate resolution frame rate aspect ratio etc but just change the container to be able to load in totalvideoredo. is this possible, i realise with conversion there will be some quality loss no matter what but what is my best option here considering i want no or as little quality loss as possible..
