Hi,
I've a DVD from which I wish to extract clips. Kindly suggest a suitable software for the same.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

For commercial dvds then rip first with dvdfab hd decrypter (or install anydvd).
Use dvd shrink in the reauthor mode, set start and stop, save and you will get a vob for the clip.
Or use mpg2cut2 and open the vob from the dvd folder, cut, save as a mpg.
Or use videoredo and open the vobs from the dvd folder, save as a mpg. -
It still surprises me, but often there is not even a need to rip them first. (A quick test should reveal 'Yea' or 'Nay.') That has been my experience. Why, I don't know, but a guess would be that the disc protections are not geared towards preventing clip extraction. If an issue comes up, the rip or AnyDVD options will make it a sure thing.
When in Las Vegas, don't miss the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ -- with over 150 tables from 6+ decades of this quintessentially American art form.
