    Hi,
I have created a .mkv file which is just over 4GB. I can successfully play the film on my mac.

When I play it on the blu ray player, from the menu, there appears to be 3 tracks. Each track saying the same length! I can play the 1st track but none of the others!!! The 1st track is not the complete film though. When the film is about a 1/3 of the way through(Guess this is the 1st track) it stops and goes back to the menu.

Hope that all makes and hope someone can help with this.

    Paul.

This might be a fat32 4gb limit issue. Can your player play from a ntfs drive? If not you'll have to reencode to under 4gb so your player will access the full file correctly.

(of course assuming you still have your original source start over from the original and encode to something like 3.5gb to be sure your under the limit)
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

It is a limit of fat32. A file is limited to 4GB!!! The blu ray player spec says it can read from fat and fat32 only
