  1. Which software application can play interactive video(where the first video has some options on clicking which the video linked to the clicked option plays). I tried VLC media player, Real player, PowerDVD, but they did not work.

The user in our office got the video by extracting an ISO file with WinRAR file. In a folder called videos, there are many .BUP, IFO and VOB files. The VOB files open individually using VLC media player, but I don't know how from one video they can be chosen by clicking which the user claims can be done. Is that possible or is the user missing something?

    Any advice would be welcome.

this sounds like a normal dvd (dvd-video) , with menus

use vlc to play the iso directly , or mount the iso with virtualclonedrive, then use powerdvd

Then, what is called an interactive video? I know it is not relevant to my initial question, but I would like to know. I thought videos with menu where the user could interact and dynamically select a content would be interactive videos

VLC could not play the ISO directly. I mounted the ISO with Virtual Clone Drive and then used Windows Media Player to play it which played it. I tried to play with PowerDVD DX 8.2. which was there on the machine, but it could not play it.

I also tried to play with VLC, but the menus were not visible.

Thanks for your advice and time. It was useful.

Thanks for the advice. Somehow the powerdvd dx 8.2 on that machine could not do it. But, my issue is solved.

    Thank you for the tip.
