    I'm trying to go from ASF - MPG, following the guides and whatnot and I got this error when I tried to open the .asf file into Virtualdub:

    ASF: parse error -- too many segments in packet at 30171e5 (4 expected)
    packet size = 1900, send time 13:07

    Anyone know what that is, how to fix it, or some other means of converting from ASF to MPG?

    Oh, and yes, the ASF plays just fine in Windows Media Player.

    Simple, download ASF Checker (just search on google, might be on tools havn't looked) then u can check and fix errors in the ASF and hopefully load it in VDub
