Two questions here: I've got Nero 5.5. What's the best way to duplicate a chaptered (or any) VCD to another CD-R disc? Also I'd like to copy another un-menued VCD to my hard drive so I can re-use those MPEG files to create another VCD with chapter/index. I have already erased all the original MPEG/AVI files from my hard drive (to free space).

well.... i can answer your fist question. put the vcd in your cdrom, a blank in the burner, and use the CD-COPY function in Nero. that is the easiest way.

MPEGTool version 1.04 Written by Dino
This program has 2 functions: one is to truncate a DAT format MPEG file into a MPG format, the other is to cut any portion of a MPEG file. Just follow the screen, select source and target file, give start and end frame number, then everything will be done automatically. Some DAT file
may become unreadable after truncate, check the 'Special format' radio button on page 2 may fix this problem.
This is a freeware, use it on your own risk. Hope this program is helpful for all. Any comment please send me a e-mail to: dino@ppsc.pme.nthu.edu.tw. Thank you! ^_^

Best way is First create a image using image recorder in nero. Then burn the image.
