  1. Hi all,
    I'm dealing with lots of music videos from '90s and 80's... Most of them come into a NTSC format.
    I suspect they were originally shooted in 24p or maybe PAL (as they show european artists), so I'm fighting with IVTC...
    Is there any guide to recognize the original shooting speed from Telecined (blended) videoclip?
    Here's an example of few seconds...
    Could you give the parameters of 'Srestore()' and ' Yadif()'

    Most of the music videos of that time had elements shot on film but were edited with NTSC telecine (29.97) or in PAL (25), then digital effected or filtered in those formats. You can usually Google the music video to find if it was originally produced in PAL or NTSC. Standards conversion would add even more layers of frame reinterpolation.

    Bottom line, only the simplest music videos would can be IVTC'd. Those that were shot 24p and cut with minimal effects.
