Not having any problems with mine at the moment, but the thought occurred to me -- is there any gathered knowledge on whether or not it is possible to replace these drives with a stock drive of some kind? I have a dead drive kit SOMEWHERE but for the life of me I cannot find it, but if I do I'll try to inspect it a little more closely to see how it's put together. Just planning ahead in the event that the laser dies in both of my remaining units and JVC can no longer service it.
