1) is AVI playable in DVd player? because i just download a movie with 729 MB on it.
2)if not (1st question), what do i need to do, i have try to "TMPGEnc-2.53.35.130" To Convert AVI to MPEG 1-2, but it too slow, it only get to 10% in 45 minute.
Please help.
P.S. i want to watch it on a DVD player, not window media player

No, it will not play in your standalone DVD. You must reencode it into VCD format. And the time you described is correct,sadly. I have a 500MHZ machine and to encode a 2 hour movie into standard VCD it will take between 6-9 hours. It is a very CPU intensive process. Only way not to reencode it and still watch it on tv, get a video card that has a tv out on it and watch using it.
But I know what you're feeling, when I forst got started, I was like"what do you mean 8 hours!

yes, if it has tv out, hook it into the VCRs video and audio input. And you should have no problems.

after in/out are finish, where do i play the movie and press record on my vcr? play it on Window Media Player?
