  1. I am not sure which forum I should post this under so here goes. I am very new to this forum. I have been trying to burn copies of a DVD that was created by the funeral home when my beloved Grandmother past away. Sadly not everyone in the family could afford the $65 for the video of her life. I have done just about everything I can think of and still can't get any copies of made. The pictures show up on the computer, the dvd of course plays great on the computer, but of course there are some things that won't show up when I try to access the DVD. The audio file says its empty, and in the video file there are files that start with VTS folowed by underscore and numbers then it end with.IFO, .VOB, .BUP and there is other files that are called VIDEO_TS.BUP or VIDEO_TS.INFO. . I have windows media, windows movie maker, a dvd burner and my operating system is Windows Vista if that helps. I can't help but wonder if the funeral home did something so that dvd could not be copied which sucks, my grandma was loved by everyone and its so sad that the vidoe of her life is out of reach to her 10 kids and close to 100 grandchildren. If anyone knows anyway in which I can get these copies made I would be so very thankful.

  2. The 'audio file' is supposed to be empty. No, the funeral home didn't do anything so it couldn't be copied. Put the files on the computer. Just drag-and-drop from the DVD-ROM. Burn using ImgBurn:

I'm assuming it's a single layer DVD (total file size less than 4.37 GB).
