    I made an avi digitized version of some content using DVDFab Platinum in the normal procedure I always use. On this item I have no sound. It is not multiple language that I recall.

    To simplify, I always use "generic" for the AVI option.

    What should I look for to correct for sound?

    What are some program alternatives that I may have missed over time?

    Just rip with dvdfab decrypter and then convert to avi with autogk or staxrip.

    I re-examined the audio track. it is listed as "undefined" PCM/2 I guess for pulse code modulation.

    Does this effect the coding because it is not AC3?

    run media info on Source Video Contents and figure out which audio stream it contains.
    i guess, but not pretty sure as DVDShrink, DVDFab must have offered you audio track selections which one to keep, isn't it?
