im trying to put some of my blu-rays onto my media player so i have converted them to bdiso movie only with audio and subs,but my media player likes mkvs better,now if i use say makemkv will it convert them to mkv and also keep the subs i have left in thankyou

Media players usually play according to the chipset used in the player so they are different from brand to brand.
MakeMKV will keep the audio and subtitle if that's what you select.
However, if the subtitle is PGS which is normally found in BRs than the subtitle usually will not play in most players.
You would have to convert them to idx/sub or srt. They can be inserted into the MKV with MKVToolNix
or they can be played externally.
