  1. Hello
I got Samsung LED UA46B7000, I connected my USB external hard disk and played a 1080p-movie and I got a fantastic resolution but unfortunately no audio because Samsung doesn't support DTS.
I plugged up my laptop to LED through HDMI 1.3 cable, but I didn't get a very good resolution compared to when connected through USB.

I'm using KL codec for playing HD movies in my laptop.

    Why is that?
    Please help
    Thanks

What are your laptop specs? Display chipset?

Try playing your file with MPCHC which has internal codecs and can be set to use display card hardware.

I have Sony VAIO with full hd, my display chipset is ATI HD 4650.
I'm already using Media Player Classic Home Cinema
