Dynex DX-UPDVD2 access the region code screen

I found out that if you press SETUP on the Remote and after you type 1-3-8-9.
A new screen will appear and show region code, version, etc
But i can't change nothing. Maybe is missing something to edit the region code.

If somebody can help
