  1. Hi,

I'm trying to rip "What Women Want", using DVDx 1.8 frameserving to TMPGEnc, but I noticed in the DVDx plug-in window that audio and video are out of sync, being audio frame higher than video around 9 to 12 frames... does anyone know what could be going on?

    thanks in advance,

  2. Hi,

If you ONLY use DVDx, the Audio in your final MPG might get out of sync with Video.

I got the same out of sync problem too using DVDx1.8a, Video Server plug-in, TMPGenc 2.53.

Looking at the Plug-in window during the encoding process, I noticed that the Frames of Audio was somehow faster than Farmes of Video. This was done without spliting the Audio from Video (eg Video Source = Audio Source) in TMPG.

So I try spliting by saving the Audio in Wav file and convert it to mp2 (can be configured in the Plug-in). After I started the encoding process with TMPG, I noticed that the Frame of both audio and video got to sync.

After I got the mpg and mp2, I used the TMPG Tools to mix into 1 mpg file.

I have not tested with the mpg I've made but you can try if you want.

In my opinion, TMPG is MUCH MUCH MUCH faster than DVDx.
