DVD Authoring Programs Disappear In The Midst of Burning Stage.

This has happened with both "Daniusoft"(trial version) and "Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus" (full paid $130 for version).

Daniusoft did this every time, while Ulead worked before, now it does it.

After I click the burn button, it converts video and titles, etc. for about 1 hr, gets up around 41% or so, then when I come back to check; it's gone. Not even an error message; just disappeared.

I've no idea what's wrong. Can someone please help?

Just instruct those programs to output to DVD folders or an ISO image....then burn with ImgBurn.

When I select "Create ISO image" it doesn't create an ISO image or make DVD folders. Like I said, it just closes for no apparent reason.

Do you have enough disk space?
Does the app have any settings for "temporary files" or similar - make sure that you set this to some drive that has at least 10 GB free. Authoring apps need at least that, or maybe 15 or 20GB space, to create a 5 GB DVD.

Open "My computer" on the drive it uses and watch the amount of free space as it works.

Yes, it has "Temporary Working Folder" which is on a HDD that has 190GB free and I delete the content before each attempt. It also says how much space is needed for the burn usually 19GB or something. Also, Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 is installed on this same harddrive so it has no reason to run out of space. Space is not a problem.

Perhaps RAM errors? Could be worth running a memory check.
