    I am looking for a IPOD Video Converter that lets me select any file size that I want as this phone uses the IPOD Mp4 Videos. I am not looking to change anything like resolution I just want to make file sizes smaller & the size of my choosing. Is there a Converter that does this ?

    Converting videos wit XMedia Recode is taking almost twice longer than with Format Factory (same settings).
    Looking at CPU load in Task Manager shows that XMedia Recode is putting all the load in one CPU core, while Format Factory distributes the job over all the cores.

    Simply because of this, I'd use Format Factory (there are a few presets for HTC).

  5. usta,

    I did a quick test using a 45.42mb clip for both software on a single core laptop. XMedia Recode took 30sec Format Factory 34sec not a big deal .The only thing I don't like about FF is the ad banner for ask.com.

    are u with sprint? if not.check the Droid X (verizon) or the Samsung Epic 4G if u like keyboard

    nice phone but it's huge if you have small hands lol .1st thing I did when I opened the box is the OTA update using WiFi(30mb)
    few things I don't like
    1- battery life .if you into watching videos,playing with apps,,,, be sure to keep the charger near you work/car all the time
    2- $10 extra for a service I don't get
    3-30fps cap.not an issue for me/her but still android 2.2 supposed to take care of it

    I'm giving the phone to my wife .her old phone got so many scratches/dents it turned the color from black to white thats why I'm watching for the case before I give it to her

    Epic 4G

    I myself have an Android phone (HTC Desire) and I love it.
    The short battery life is typical for all Android high-end phones (Droid X, Galaxy S, Nexus One, Desire, etc...), so there is not much to be done.

    @MJA,
    Indeed, on a single core CPU the difference should be minimal.
    However, when I run the tests on my Core i5, then I see in total 4 cores in action thanks to multi-threading, and this is when Xmedia Recode starts to disappoint.
