Right Channel Audio Only AVI!!!

I have an avi file with audio only coming out of the right channel! I tested my audio devices and everything is fine! I had this issue a few years ago with another file and can't remember how I fixed it! Is there a program that will edit the audio of the file and output it to both channels? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I apologize if this has already been asked on the forums! I did a search using different terms to check first but didn't find anything.

You can use VirtualDub's advanced audio filtering to copy the right channel to the left channel then reencode the audio. Put Video into Direct Stream Copy mode so it doesn't get reencoded:



On the Stereo Split filter, I don't know which is right and which is left. You'll have to figure it out for yourself.

Is there any other program that I could use to resolve this problem? I tried the advanced audio filtering like you suggested but mine doesn't look like yours does! I only have one 44/16 where you have two sets! I am also getting audio filter has unconnected input pin errors. Could you walk me though the process step-by-step please? I would really appreciate it! I'm sorry to be a pain! Thank you for replying back to me so quickly in the first place!
