  1. hello,

    i have installed a lot of players/codecs
    but everytime i try to open an MPEG file (from the /MPEG2 dir on a SVCD) it plays, but looks awfull, (like scrambled TV)

    can anyone help me ! ?

    i tried every program to get a nice play, but it just won't look good at all !!

    still the same prob, i readed s'thing about some file in the /system/iosubsys directory

    but i have win2k pro, so can anybody help me ?

I am having the same problem,I was on win98 and i would just drag a .M2V file into windows media player and it would work...now i went to win2K and have checked for upgrades and codex's and i'm up to date but will no longer work....i even have dvix5 but nothing is working right now.....time to do some more reading on this site...

    i'm on win2k and i've tried a lot and i mean a LOT of codecs and programms out there..
    some files play but most dont..

    i have 2 cd-rom drives and they dont even recognize the svcds and say that there are no disks in the drive.. and when i extract the files to the disk i get this "scrabled" picture and messed up sound..
