    I need help decoding a VC1 file in avisynth. I tried ffindex("file.vc1") and directshowshource("file.m2ts"), but it crashes avsp. Any help is appreciated!

    Does VirtualDub play those .AVSs, or it crashes too?

    Try Splash PRO with Motion2,
    it should play vc1 in m2ts file with no problems.

    Since Splash PRO release I gave up using AviSynth for HD.
    Motion2 is much much better.

    One loading the m2ts file via DSS, it pops up an error: Could not open as video or audio. Then Video & Audio returned "DirectShowSource : Timeout waiting for graph to start."

    ffindex("video.vc1") pops up an error: The script's return value was not a video clip.

    I am on Windows 7 and AviSynth 2.5.8. meGUI is up-to-date as well.
