  1. hello...

I allready 4 times got error when burn bluray with Imgburn.

Before I rip a BD with anydvd, add subtitle, then make ISO, and play it, everything went allright.

But when I tried to burn it to BD-R it always give me an error :

    W 00:42:57 Failed to Write Sectors 33920 - 33951 - Reason: Logical Unit Communication CRC Error (ULTRA-DMA/32)
    W 00:42:57 Retrying (1 of 20)...
    I 00:42:57 Writing Sectors...

    it stuck there...

I think the files that have error, then I tried burn the rip without any authoring, but it give me same error...

    I have :

    1 dvd-rw (PATA)
    1 BD-rw (SATA)
    Windows XP SP2 ( installed UDF 2.5 )

can anyone help me solve this problem?

    thx...

  2. i guess imgburn handles dvd-r perfectly, but still not ready for bd-5.
all imgburn lovers, it is better to take that issue directly to the imgburn developers, so bd-5 feature can be implemented in forthcoming imgburn updates.

m1x, that's generally a symptom of a communication problem between the burner and the hard drive. First thing I would do is check the SATA cable connections at both ends and if that seems OK, change out the SATA cable. If that fails, you can also try unplugging the SATA cable, reboot, then plug it back in and boot again. That may reset something.

ImgBurn normally works fine with BD discs. But what brand of BD discs are you using? Single layer or DL? What's your burner brand and model?

    thx for reply...

then u say, it's about the hardware? I think same, I tried burn simple data ( not BD ) and it don't give me error but stuck in 21% with speed 0 KBps,

it's weird, how can I succesfully RIP some disc at the same time and can't write...

btw I will try replugging SATA cable...

    I use single layer BD-R,

    my BD-RW is Lite On
