I read the article on yahoo and went to the site. I'm currently surfing on a pc thats connected via wifi and is an old single core xp pc so I can't test it right now.

It sounds like its interesting. I think I remember reading about the cloud gaming stuff awhile back but it is active now.

I have the mid range cable internet with comcast. I think I hit 5mbs when everything is clear. However my best pc is only a dual core 2.7ghz vista pc. Would this be enough? I can play 720p video just fine on it. Though Its been awhile since i've streamed video on it so I can't recall if I can stream hd stutter free.

I don't like the idea of losing the games you buy if you don't keep paying the subscription fee. HOWEVER I do like the pc rental option. That way I could rent a game and see if I like it. That would mean I could end up buying it for my xbox 360 or ps3 if its multiplatform.

Well it turns out its an invite system for onlive. I signed up but haven't gotten an activation link yet.

I read a bit on cnet and found out about instantaction.com. It is a similar streaming service. Right now it only has secret of monkey island as a 30 minute demo.

So far I can't get it started. I tried a few times on its main website but the run button for the java stuff wouldn't even load. I'm trying it through their facebook link and it hasn't loaded yet either. It could be their servers or they aren't fully powered up yet and this is still beta testing.
