    The AVI plays fine. But when I bring the AVI file (170mb) in to TMPGEnc I get a black screen. The sound is fine. I have tried Xing Enc, Panasonic, and even Adobe Premire has problems with it when I put it in the timeline.
    Why is this happening?

    Anyone? I really need help. I have an AVI of The Fast and the Furious that I want to burn in to a VCD.

    does the avi have problems in premiere or the converted mpeg?
