  1. Hello,
My grandson was playing with my dvd player and somehow switched the pal/ntsc on the region code section of the menue. Now my TV does not recognize my player. I cannot access the set up on the dvd or get a picture from it to change it back. It is a Sungate dvd 2026. Any help on this is appreciated.
    Thank you

Region Codes and NTSC/PAL have nothing to do with each other.
Did your grandson try to "hack" the machine to make it "region free"?

  3. Evedn if it has been changed from ntsc to pal you would still get a picture on the tv, it would probably be rolling though, the picture that is not the TV

Unplug the dvd player, while you check the cables are all connected as they should as your grandson may have played with those.

Plug the dvd player back in and see what happens.

I had to fix one once by blindly using the remote and instructions from the manual to change it, either that or get it to a multi system tv

I would try playing something in it....an audio CD perhaps.

  8. Ok, so, I hooked it up to an older TV and the screen rolls. It rolls so much that I can't see the menu. Any idea's? There is nothing wrong with the sound.
