Is there an AACGain that doesn't force you to install I-Tunes and Quicktime player?

No. That's the version that I downloaded and installed. When I tried to use it, it told me I needed to install I-Tunes 4.9 or newer. I started to install I-Tunes but it wanted to install QT so I cancelled the install. I couldn't see installing all this junk that I didn't want or need just to raise the volume of my aac files.

I just used Nero Wave Editor to increase the volume.

I though Soopafresh would've made one of his batch tools for aac like he did for mp3 and ac3.

Download and install MP3Gain first, then DL and unzip AACGain..
Re-name it to "mp3gain.exe", and move it into the MP3Gain folder, copying over the existing mp3gain.exe.
    That's it, now mp3gain should handle AAC's..

I had read to move the exe file to the mp3gain folder but they didn't say to rename the file.

I'll rename the mp3gain.exe to mp3gain.oldexe and copy and paste the aacgain.exe into the mp3gain folder and name it mp3gain.exe and try again.

    Thanks!

I demux the mp4 to get the AAC audio but when I try and increase the audio, it comes out just the same. The default target is set to 89db and I've raised it to 100db with no increase in volume. I just tried one file and it said it was already over 100db but the volume is still way too low.

How high can I raise the db without running into problems?

When I try and open these AAC files in Nero WaveEditor, it tells me an error occurred while reading the file. If I open the files in foobar, it crashes after a few seconds with unsupported file or corrupted file. Seems that Yamb cannot produce a valid aac/mp4 file.

After hours of trying to get anything to work (I should say a couple of days), it looks like dbpoweramp is my best option. I convert the MP4 to AC3 (with the Aften CLI plugin) and then use ac3gain to raise the volume. Dbpoweramp crashes on the demuxed audio from Yamb also so I have to use the original MP4.

There is an option "Don't clip when doing track gain".
If set, it caps the gain to prevent clipping.

I unset this. This can be triggered by very loud things like explosions, gunshots, and I don't care and won't notice if they are distorted, but I do want the dialogue to be boosted.

For testing purposes, I imported an .mp4 file(V&A) in f2k and converted it to Nero/AAC..I then imported the new aac/m4a in aacgain and applied 'Album gain' using 100db(as per OP's goal), making sure I had the "Don't clip when doing track gain" option checked as AlanHK suggested..
It worked for me..IOW the volume is now higher, but to be honest have yet to listen to the whole clip for well--clipping..Try it..

    I assume you mean "unchecked".
If checked it will still work most of the time, but some tracks it will prevent boosting the full amount.

It must've been because I was demuxing the aac audio first. I open the mp4 file and it worked in mp3gain, foobar and Nero WaveEditor.

EDIT: To answer my own question, 105 is as high as mp3gain will go but when using an mp4 file, that is very loud. The demuxed aac files that I did get mp3gain to accept didn't seem to do anything at all.
