    The problems jairovital had do indeed seem to be due to codec conflicts.

    However, not as far as I can see because of a codec pack, but codecs installed by media players.
    Thus his problem was not solved when he did uninstall K-Lite.

    The only codec involved that was installed by K-Lite was ffdshow, which is universally recommended, and that was working.

    A major benefit of a good codec pack are the tools they include for managing such conflicts.

    If you have a deep understanding of the process of course, you can do it all by hand.
