How we can make the best video quality of poor vcr movies and songs.

Dear friends:
I have some vhs films and songs. The video quality colors audio and specilly picture of some videos are ruff snowy .The faces of characters are unclear .Please tell any s/w which can give better look shining of the videos create and increase
in audio with quaity.

Depends on the video format you choose to convert them to. With a AVI type format, you could use VirtualDub and something like Neat Video. Or use some of the many freeware filters available for VD. Some here: http://www.thedeemon.com/VirtualDubFilters/ I use 'levels, ColorMill II, Gradation Curves' mostly.

For the audio, the freeware Audacity has a lot of options to clean up sound. You can save out the audio with VD, process it, then mux it back with the video.

If the videos have a lot of noise or snow, sometimes there's not a lot you can do to fix them, but you may be able to improve them a little.
