  1. My Grand Mother just passed away a few weeks ago. (98 years young)
I have a 18 year old VHS tape of her which I ripped to my HD. Being 18 years old, it looks a bit worn and lacking in sharpness. I would just like to sharpen it up a bit. Is there a relatively simple program that I can do this with quickly? Thanks So Much....

Not easily. It would need analysis to know what filters to use.

If you still have the tape, re-capture it with a newer card or DVD recorder. Or for better quality have a pro dub house do it using a frame sync or TBC.

What format did you capture it in? That largely determines what programs to use with it.

And Prynter, in the future, please use a more descriptive title for your posts. I will change yours this time.

Better VCR and pre-digital conversion hardware is usually required.
You can't do ths in software.

If it's really important, consider paying a service that specializes in restoring video.
