Greetings,
I have a Pilot PSD1600 DVD-player and someone accidently changed the video output to Digital Video.
Since I don't have a Digital Video cable nor does my tv has the input, it means I have no visual and are unable to change it back to s-video.
I've tried to press the powerbutton for awhile (while being connected as well as disconnected from the electricity) and left it disconnected from the electricity for awhile, but with no results.
I'm doing voluntary work, so I have no money to buy a new DVD-player.
Could anyone give me any advice how to change the video output?
Thanks,
Marc

Look through your user manual and find out if there is an option to reset to factory default. If there is, write down the sequence of button press you have to do to get to it. Otherwise, do the same to get to the video output menu and return it to s-video (this might require more steps than resetting).

Yeah I thought about that as well, however I got the DVD player (secondhand) without a manual.
I tried searching the internet, but without results.
I can't even find a website of the manufactorer or any contact details, so I could ask about this.
Thx for the reply though. -
Have you tried to hook it up to your tv with the composite output (yellow RCA)? Do you know anyone who owns a TV with HDMI input? Last resort, you could take it to a store like Best Buy and explain your situation, they might be willing to help. Especially if you go on at a time when the place is dead (like a Wednesday around 10 AM).
