Does any use/have info on the JVC BR 605? Specifically, I'm wondering if it's capable of playing back EP VHS tapes. Also, does it offer time code support? I'm basically trying to compare this to the Sony SVO - 5800 and if it's capable of supporting EP tapes, it may be the deck for the job. There's scant info out on the web so figured I'd post here. Any help is much appreciated.
