Do you want to convert to a dvd-video(that works on a standalone dvd player)? Add the files in nerovision and convert and burn. If the video is longer than 2-3 hours make 2 dvdr.

If these are full length movie, put one per disc.

The 2 video files total 3.77gb , is it possible to put both files on the same dvd ? If i burn one of the files straight to dvd it plays on standalone allready, but i want to fit both files on the same dvd.

Use nero recode and join the both DVD(?) videos in one.
They will still be two DVD-video titles, with they're own chapter's, but joined, and you can choose which one to play using the standalone dvd player.
You just have to burn the joined dvd to a dvd disc like any other normal dvd video disc.

What are the running times of the two videos ? Unless the movies are already DVD compliant, the size means nothing. For example,m it is possible to compress a 2 hour movie to 1.4GB using H264 and have it look pretty good, however to burn the same movie back to DVD Video would mean re-encoding back to a full 4.38GB. Mpeg-2 is a less efficient encoder.

Depending on the source, 2 hours is about the limit for good quality on a single layer DVD, 3 hours for very average quality. After that, quality drops off very quickly. If your files have a combined running time of 2 hours or less, by all means try for one disc. But if they are 90 minutes or more each, the quality cost will be high.

If you have the full version of Nero, you have recode.

Personally, I would uninstall Nero and use AVStoDVD instead. But that's just me.

THAT DOESN'T MATTER. The two files will need to be re-encoded to DVD specs which will
most likely result in a much larger file size.
