Hello Group, new guy here. I am trying to capture video from my Sony DCR-TRV27 camcorder onto my computer (Windows XP) without losing the time and date stamp. I am very new at this and just moved up to the Sony from my 30 yr old Cannon 35mm. Need help pls!

Get a firewire card and import the video with WinDV. Check out all the guides here:
