Hello I have a problem with different video clips in my pc

they are in different format ( .mpeg and .avi) and I would like to create a DVD
As suggested in another thread, I tried to use ImgBurn with a rewritable disc but it seems that the final result ( DVD) doesn't work in my dvdplayer

    My questions:

    - should I use a conversion sw ( avs videoconverter?) before?

    - can you please suggest a software to burn a DVD with the possibility to create chapters and a nicer graphic ( see Nero): I am not able to create them with Img and Ashampoo

    thanks for your help/Fabio

If you want to create a DVD you need to convert and author the files into the correct format (see What is DVD - top left corner). The better freeware tools for this are AVStoDVD, DVD Flick, FAVC or DVD Styler. The best payware all-in-one is ConvertXtoDVD. Use Imgburn to burn the results.

If you use Imgburn on the files you have you are creating a data disc, not a DVD Video disc. Many players will support playback of data discs for certain file types, but not all do. You would have to consult your manual.
