Anyone having this problem with Staxrip? It asked me to update avisynth, and since then it doesn't work at all. Error message below:

Thanks. I tried what that post said at the bottom i.e. I had the file in a folder on the desktop, so I copied it to the desktop to try to encode again.

But I get the same problem. And after all the Desktop is a folder too.

I think the problem is updating avisynth since then Staxrip will not work at all. Even to try to rip xvid.

I'll keep working on it, searching for solutions and checking back here.

    Thank you.

    I think I fixed it.

For some inexplicable reason, old jobs and a whole bunch of the unsuccessful jobs were lining up in Staxrip after the initial audio encoding process. I just didn't notice the jobs in the list and keep charging ahead.

I cleared all the old/dud jobs from the Staxrip window just before the video encoding starts and left only the job that I had lined up, and it worked fine again.

Which is a great relief because Staxrip is bloody good software!

EDIT: I've done a few more test rips to make sure everything is fine...and looks like it's all good now.
