  1. Alright so I recently reinstalled my Dazzle DVC 90 capture card onto my XPS M1530 laptop running Windows 7.

I capture with VirtualDub and while the video feed shows up just fine, I'm having issues with the audio. Under sources there's only one source, it being Microphone. That Microphone is the one built into my laptop just next to the integrated webcam. I can't seem to get any other source to show up, not even the Microphone line in from a headset.

I've reinstalled the drivers and they are working as far as I can tell. I've checked device manager and Dazzle DVC90 Audio Device is installed and working properly, but nothing of that sort shows up in Control Panel's sound settings or anything.

Can anyone offer any advice on how I can get the Dazzle to show up as audio source? It's showing up as video source so I'm not sure why it wouldn't show up as Audio as well =/

    Thanks in advance

With capture cards that have "Sound card" inside you should select "Capture device" and from "Audio Source" select the right input (if there are more".

  3. Thanks for the help. There wasn't any other source listed and I pretty much hit a dead end.

So I bought a substitute second hand capture card. Not quite as good but at least the audio is there and the video is decent enough, though I'm having slight sync issues where the audio would be off by about 1s or so (slower than the video). Any tips on how to fix that without doing it in post production?

See at Capture>>Timing for resynch options.
