  1. Hi

    I´m trying to convert a movie from DivX->VCD

    But I got a lage problem with the sound. its 5ch (Dolby digital)

    I tryed to convert the sound in V.D but the program refuses.

    Any ideas?

  2. I had a problem like this recently, where the sound could not be processed by VD off a DIVX. I had to decompress the audio file using the decompress utility in AVI2VCD (gives you an AVI that contains uncompressed audio), then process the resulting file in VD (was resizing/adding subtitles), then frame serve to TMPGEnc for VCD encoding.
    And even then, there was a delay in my audio, so I had to manually adjust that delay in VD.
    Bit complicated if you ask me, especially considering the subtitles were initially in SAMI format and it took me forever to find a way to convert them properly to SSA format.

    dnld ac3dec and drop your ac3 file onto the icon and it will give you a wav, then you can load it into tmpg[/u]
