    Hi,

    I want have a mkv with an .ass file in it and it got some nice effects like fades and such in it.

    However, when I encode the video with the subs in WinMenc, the subs just show as normal and not with fade effect and colors and such..

    Does anyone knows what the problem is?

    I'm not sure if that is possible with winmenc / mencoder.
