cannot delete vlc recorded file

i tried using the record function in vlc, and after it made a recording, i cannot delete it. (it says it is being used by another program but it is not)
even after reseting the computer i stil cannot delete the file

Have you tried to open a DOS window and delete it in DOS?

thanx but i will try to go with sambats suggestion cause ive used that program in the past and it was great (i just couldnt remember what it was called)
