  1. Hi, I am looking for a video converter for N97. Currently, I am using Videora but I will be working with videos that have subs (mkv files) and have audio bitrate of 320kbps.

Videora does well with subs as it replicated them exactly (fonts, position, size, etc), which is what I wanted. However, I noticed a large loss in audio quality as it can only encode up to 160kbps, which is what I do not want!

I tried others eg. Handbrake, FFCoder and MediaCoder and they changed the fonts of the subs to something else, which is what I do not want too! The audio quality from them is just what I needed though...

EDIT: Apprently, just found out that if my source files are .mkv, the converted videos' audio will not work as halfway through, it will get cut off permanently; the video will still play though.

So, may I know what video converter can replicate the subs exactly AND encode up to 320kbps for audio?

    Thanks!

Sorry, I am new here; only saw this part of the forum after I posted there...

And is this the right place for my thread?

    Yep.

But I don't know any such tool for you. Maybe you could ask the videora converter authors that they add more audio bitrate options, http://www.redkawa.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25

  5. Thanks, that one thing I can consider, but I also forgot to mention that the audio from videos created via videora have random spikes too; now trying to see whether it''s something to do with the source file...

  6. Well, looks like for now, no one else will implement it due to time issues... I guess I have to find something else to burn-in my subs into the video itself before I convert them...

Does anyone know of programs that can do batch-processing of subs that way?
