    I am getting a "the device is not ready" error message when trying to convert a dts audio file to ac3 using eac3to. Can anyone help me get around this error? Any help is appreciated.

    Can't help you with your specific problem but ....

    DAudioK by Rockas will convert DTS to ac3( it's a free program).... if that's any help

    Are you using the command line version or a gui/frontend?

    The command line. It is pointing to the external drive for the actual file I want to convert. eac3to executible file is located in c drive.

    eac3to.exe "G:\From.Paris.with.Love.720p.Bluray.x264-CBGB\cbgb-parislove\cbgb-parislove.track_2.dts" "G:\From.Paris.with.Love.720p.Bluray.x264-CBGB\cbgb-parislove\cbgb-parislove.track_2.ac3"
