Hi, I have a XPI format video file from my work surveillance cameras, there has been a few cases of vandalism and I'm keen to see who the perpetrator is, the only problem is the footage was sent to me as XPI files, I have tried windows media player, quick time player, even tried running it threw Premier elements editing program and nothing works, does anyone know how I can convert the file to a readable format. Much appreciated.. Nick..

you most likely need to install the software that came with the cams. normally the files are encrypted custom mp4. there should be an option to export as a normal type video, but you'd have to be running their software.
