    Hi,
A friend mentioned that we can rip the whole DVD with the bloopers and extra scenes and all that to one file, I didn't know this was possible.
Can you please tell me what that is called or how to search on it on these forums, I'd like to learn about it may be I'll start doing that instead of just ripping the movie.
I rip all my DVD's to my NAS to view on XBMC running on a windows box.
I tried looking in this page
    https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/dvd-to-mp4-avc-h264
but I don't really know what to search for, what that type of complete rip is called.

    Best Regards

Not that I have ever seen. You can add each of the separate parts of a DVD to a folder, but it won't behave like a DVD with selectable menus or indexes. You may be able to play the separate parts with most MKV capable players after conversion. Or you could also combine the main movie, the extras, etc., and make them part of one long file of the main movie and the 'extra' stuff would be at the end of it.

Could you use makemkv to convert the parts to MKVs then use MKVMerge, or handbreak to merge them into one file?

Thanks guys. I'll follow up with my buddy, he's doing all this in linux with mplayer or something. I'll find out and if I understand it I'll post it here.

    Cheers
