I have an AVI in which I want to split the audio and video so that I can add another audio file to it (and resync hopefully). I have heard AVIdemux is the best tool for this but I have no clue how to make it do this. I have searched and searched online for some "How To" and still no luck.
So my apologies for such a newbie questions, but can anyone help me out with this?
Thanks in advance!

Load the video into avi demux, then click on Audio->Save to save the audio stream. if you just want to change the audio track, click on Audio -> Main Track, then change the audio source to one of the supported external options, and select your audio stream file. Click OK. Make sure video and audio are both set to Copy, then click on File -> Save -> Save Video to save your new video.
