What I'm looking to do is encode from various sources to h264 (MP4 container) single-pass. I usually use StaxRip, but I can no longer get it to work with single pass. I'm flexible as far as the audio encoding goes. I'd like to use AAC, but MP3 is fine. I'm trying some of the converters from the video conversion thread, but I can't seem to find one that will do a single-pass encode to a specified filesize or bitrate. Am I overlooking something or is there one out there or do I need to learn the command line for x264? Thanks for your help.
Edit: I found out xmedia recode does it okay. I was originally scared by the german agreement but the interface is in english. mods can trash this I guess.
