I have previously made a dvd with Sony's DVD Architect, chapters and all. It contained several mpg files, basically a chronical of the family life. Is there anyway that I can replace the different mpg files with this year's videos and still retain the oulay of the video, chapters and all? Basically I want to keep formating of text and placement of buttons etc from the original design.

Do you have the dvd architect project saved? If not it's probably not possible but you can replace video tracks with vobblanker. Author the new mpg to a dvd with muxman and then use vobblanker replace feature, http://download.videohelp.com/jsoto/guides/VobBlanker/adding_menus/index.htm (scroll down to step 6).
