  1. Hello everyone!
I've searched all over for a solution but couldn't find any, so I've come to this place where I've noticed there are some real experts.
Is there a way to batch trim MOV files? I have over 800 files that need to be trimmed exactly 10 frames at the head and 10 frames at the tail, for an animation. Doing the work manually is a nightmare .
Any programs, methods or just about anything to make these computers work for us, and not otherwise?

    Thanks in advance

Try mpeg streamclip. But I guess it only allows batch reconverting and not batch trimming.

Another method would be to try ffmpeg( http://at-byte.com/technology/how-trim-video-using-ffmpeg ) or mencoder ( http://www.misterhowto.com/index.php?category=Computers&subcategory=Video&article=trim..._with_mencoder ) and batch file...but I don't know how to batch in mac os.

  3. Thanks Baldrick. I've already tried mpeg streamclip but to no avail... I'll give a try to ffmpeg and mencoder, and i'll post any positive results. But if in the meantime someone else has any ideas.... (I'm trying to see if I can find a script for After effects and then I'll just batch render... but i don't think so...)
