Hello all,
I just created an avc video stream using the sony bluray template 1920x1080 50i and muxed it with mkvtoolnix - the result is an mkv that plays exactly with 1/2 the frame rate. I think it has something to do with mkvtoolnix using 25fps for every half image of the 50i stream.
Does anybody know how to set the parametern in mkvtoolnix to handle 50i streams correctly or do I need any other tool to do this?
Thanks for your help!
NM

What framerate did you set in mkvtoolnix? 25fps,50fps or tried both? or nothing? I guess you have to set it manually.

I only used the manual setting with the choices the dropdown gave me ( 24, 25, 30, 60000/1001... but no 50) - but after your reply I tried punching in the 50 "manually" and it looks like it did the trick!
...just checked the result on my TV - everything workst just fine!
Thanks, man!!Last edited by nikemouse; 18th May 2010 at 17:08.
