    details, man! details!

How is it encoded? What bitrates? Is your last name "Magoo"?

I'll take a look at this... but it might also help to tell us how it was done (program/settings/bitrate/source)...

    ok, I tried the clips...

Basically looks like MPEG-1 VBR in the 500K average range...

What's new about the format, though? What program did you use for this?

I do have to say that 1: These are not the most challenging clips in the world, but 2: they look fairly decent for the bitrate they're set at. Product looks like a Panasonic encoder plugin VCD. (do I have that right, I know it starts with P)?

    Details, please!

What VERSION of TMPGEnc? Was it a newer version?

I can tell you, that was NOT an older version, I still got blocky product on all moves at 1000+ for an AVERAGE bitrate...

Settings and version # would be helpful (this is like pulling teeth)!

  12. Beauty lays in the eye of the beholder... I don't think that a bitrate of 1000 with a CQ setting 23 can produce satisfying results unless the actors of the movie seldom move.

I have to agree... this is just like all of the other posts... LOOK I CAN FIT 4 HRS ON ONE CD!!!!!!!!!!

    Big Ol Bunch of BS

after about 20-25 posts trying to get the REAL answer... you find out its just the same ol sh!t.

but remember... this is just MY opinion...
