    I'm trying to output a project I put together. The problem is that it is taking several hours to complete. Over 5 hours in fact. When I look at the video preview, the footage just goes by frame by frame.
    Does anyone know why this is happening? How do I increase the speed?

    Have you tried convert with something else? Like dvd flick, avstodvd. Does it also take 5 hours?

    And please give more information like what is source video and your computer details.

    windows XP 2002 home addition.

    I took clips from several different DVDs to combine them into one project.
    I I tried to use Nero as well. It's somewhat slow, but I can complete the project in an hour.
