high pitch in audio after encoding using dvd2avi, tmpgenc

getting a high pitch noise in audio after encoding with tmpgenc. Audio is fine when listening to the ripped wav file before encoding, any ideas

if you're dissatisfied try a different downsampling/encoding route. tmpgenc itself will function as a front-end for the popular ssrc/toolame combo. you'll find the settings under options/environmental settings/external tool. oh, and i'd like to add a pre-emptive '**** off *******!' should koalabear respond to this thread
